Akamba is the oldest bus operator in East Africa. It operates from Dar es Salaam – Nairobi to Kampala and Kigali. Akamba has its superior service called Akamba Royal. Although the normal Akamba leave Nairobi many times a day, the Akamba Royal moves once a day. Once the bus does not continue to Kigali, you have options to connect with any bus going to Kigali.

Mash Bus Services, East Africa 

It operates between Nairobi and Kampala using well buses built by SCANIA. If it doesn’t continue to Kigali, from Kampala, you can connect with Jaguar or Gaaga in order to proceed to Rwanda. Modern Coast Express

This Bus operates from Nairobi-Kigali via Kampala. Scandinavian Buses operate from Dar es Salaam to Nairobi- Kampala. Then from Kampala you connect to a Kampala – Kigali Bus. Jaguar Executive Coaches Bus (Kampala-Kigali-Kampala)

The Buses headquarters are found in Kampala along Namirembe Road. They operate Kampala – Kigali – Kampala, Kampala- Bujumbura – Kigali, Kampala – Goma – Kampala via Kisoro. Gaaga  Coach Buses (Kampala-Kigali-Kampala)

These buses connect Kampala with Kigali via Mbarara, Kabale and Katuna. Also at times, Gaaga coach heads to Bujumbura (Burundi). They cover the following routes: Arua, Koboko, Paidha, Nebbi, Pakwach, Lira, Kigali and Bujumbura. Kampala Coach Ltd

Trinity Bus (Kampala-Kigali-Kampala)

This is one of the buses operating between Kigali and Kampala, it’s planned schedule is that it begins Kigali- Dar es salaam line. It operates regularly.

Modern Coast                      

This bus operates from Dar es salaam to Nairobi, Nairobi to Kampala – Kigali. Booking a ticket with this agency can help you if their schedule fits in your itinerary. It is located at Lumumba Avenue, Ubungo bus Station, You can contact them on +255 788 621 757. They operate on dairy basis.

Gate way Bus Service Ltd

Located on plot 19 Wilson Road, P.O. Box 10615, Kampala, Uganda. Tel. +256 414 250930, +256 414 341474. It transports passengers and luggage. It operates along the Kampala Nairobi route via Malaba and Busia.
