Uganda is known for being religious. Most Ugandan people are God Fearing and the majority of the population is Christian.

The Roman Catholics
Most Christians subscribe to the Catholic Church and are in communion with the Catholic Church of Rome. There are lots of catholic churches spread within the country. There are four Roman catholic Archdioceses in Uganda;
- Kampala Arch Diocese
- Tororo Arch Diocese
- Gulu Arch Diocese
- Mbarara Arch Diocese
Protestants
These include the followers of the Church of Uganda, Baptists, Pentecostals and other Evangelical Churches
The Orthodox Church
Muslims
There is a considerable population of muslims in Uganda and majority belong to the Shia
